Shoe Crazzzzzzzzzzy !!!

Good Morning Students,

Welcome to the WWHH Academy, where we believe the higher the heel, the better.

Here at the We Wear High-er Heels Academy, we strive to make sure that all members reach there HIGHEST level of sassy-ness. High Heeled shoes have been around for centuries. Originating from Medieval European women; who used wooden-soled patten shoes (shown below) to help them better ride their horses.

There are eight (8) different types of heels.

  • Cone Heel: a round heel that is broad where it meets the sole of the shoe and noticeably narrower at the point of contact with the ground

  • Kitten Heel:  a short, slim heel with maximum height under 2 inches and diameter of no more than 0.4 inch at the point of contact with the ground

  • Prism Heel:  three flat sides that form a triangle at the point of contact with the ground

  • Puppy Heel: thick square block heel approximately 2 inches in diameter and height

  • Louis/Spool Heel: broad where it meets the sole and at the point of contact with the ground; noticeably narrower at the midpoint between the two
  • Stiletto Heel: a tall, slim heel with minimum height of 2 inches and diameter of no more than 0.4 inch at the point of contact with the ground

  • Wedge Heel: occupies the entire space under the arch and heel portions of the foot.

Now, with that out of the way.. high heeled shoes are "it" for some of us. What would we do with out them. They complete most of our day to day looks. Some of us wear them occasionally, some of us wear them on occasions. If you're anything like US, you wear them with out reason. Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!! WE can't get enough!! The most important thing when it comes to high heeled shoes, wear your INCH. If you aren't able to run, jump, skip, dance, shop, etc.: in your favorite shoes.. then that isn't your inch. The art of wearing High Heeled Shoes is deeper than walking out the house, into the car, then into the club and to a seat. You should be comfortable in your shoes to where if all the seats were taken you would be fine. Not to say that your feet shouldn't hurt, or get a little achy HOWEVER in 2013 there should be no reason for you to be leaving the club with your shoes in your hand.

Finding TRUE Love

Relationships, marriage, and loyalty seems to be the topic of most conversations these days. Everyone is either down playing relationships, in mad love or searching for love and affection, needing someone who is loyal. We will rush into relationships before even knowing the person. Something we've all heard before, how can you love someone else, if you can't love yourself. So many are chasing love when they don't even truly understand love. The need to feel loved and being in love has driven many women and men to settle. Sex has cause many to believe that they are in love when in fact they are infatuated with the pleasure they feel when with that person. Sex does not equate to love. Rushing into relationships can end with happily ever afters x first love stories or deadly nightmares with a horror story to tell. Do you knw who your inviting into your life? Your children's lives? How many of us have said " they just changed all of a sudden" you could be living with a controlling psychopath waiting for the moment that sets him off. You wouldn't know because you didn't take the time to find out. Many times unfortunately this is how women end up in abusive relationships, ignoring the warning signs and red flags. Cant we just date with no sex involved, get to know each other and build from there. Why must we rush to label things. We pray and pray for the perfect mate but what if that person was put in your face, are you ready to receive that person. Can you handle being in that relationship? A man seeks out his wife, but a man shouldn't be seeking a wife until he can handle the responsibilities of being a man and the head of his home. Ladies its ok to be by his side and stay "loyal" but don't be a fool. Women the sane go fir you, you shouldn't be trying to be someone's wife until you fully understand your role in the relationship and are ready to accept being the woman he needs. If you cant take care of yourself how dare you ask a man to take on responsibility of providing for you? what are you bringing to the table? Putting God first in your relationship is important but putting God first in your own personal life's is as equally important. Until you can understand to love as God loves us unconditional and how to love one another in the same manner you will constantly go from relationship to relationship searching for love.....BC

Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion DO'S!!

WE are so ready for the weather to break its crazy!! And I know you guys are to! The thing for this summer is MIDRIFF!! Show off everything you've worked-out for all winter! Nothing screams spring like a high wasted bottom and a crop top. Let's take a look at some of what WE thought to be the top looks for this 2013 spring/summer from some our OUR  favorite designers :

Kenzo
The fashion house of Kenzo (by Kenzo Takada) originated in 1970 an since then has become one of the most famous for tailored handmade designs.

Mark Fast
Mark Fast is a 30 year old Canadian knit wear designer who uses a domestic knitting machine to create his bold, yet edgy designs.

Moschino Cheap and Chic
Moschino Cheap and Chic serves us with this colorful two piece summer set that can be paired with heels, sandals, or gymmies.

Along with Midriff, Stripes and Lace are becoming a major fashion DO's as well. The cool thing about stripes is that as long as you know what your doing, they can be worn any which way you please, and as always Lace gives us that girl next door softness even when worn with leather, or denim.

All Hail Queen Taraji !!!

I must say, Taraji did it with this one. I like this look for her because not only is she stacked, it's a mature outfit. not that she doesn't look better than a lot of people younger than her, but she gives it a certain sex appeal being even completely covered. Her hair could've been more alive. I do think that the purple lip was kind of a risk given the silver and blue...but hey, she rocked it and she looks amazing!! -Ni
